From the relative satisfaction of a good first half performance against Manchester United, Aston Villa lurched to a 5-0 defeat - with more than a little help from an assistant referee who would be struck off had his decisions been given against our hosts - to Manchester City. Villa's fragility raised its ugly head once more, and the drubbing at the Etihad forms the backbone of this week's show.
For the first time, Chris and Steve host Aston Villa Review in the same room (well, the same car) after heading to Halesowen Town on Sunday to show our support for Villa skipper Stiliyan Petrov and the Pedal for Petrov campaign. A host of former Villans played their part in a 13-goal game, with a quite stunning hat-trick scored by one Lee Hendrie, by some distance the best player on the park.
As well as giving our view on the charity game and Saturday's first team defeat, we look briefly ahead to Villa's game against Arsenal next weekend.
