Aston Villa supporters vary in their tolerance levels when it comes to managerial realism, but you'll be hard pushed to find one who'd accept an FA Cup Third Round defeat - at home, mind you - to a side struggling for form in League One. Villa's exit at the hands of Sheffield United was all too predictable. In this week's show, Chris and Steve discuss Villa's defeat and also Paul Lambert's comments about the competition.
And, while it seems a long time ago now, we also revisit Villa's New Year's Day win at Sunderland. Gabriel Agbonlahor's goal proved the winner in a testy affair at the Stadium of Light, but it took Villa within five wins of Premier League safety. Is that a manageable target for an increasingly poor side hampered by injuries?
