Weeks filled with ups and downs are hardly unusual at Aston Villa these days, but the last ten days have inspired a range of emotions. After losing 1-0 at home to Leyton Orient in the second round of the League Cup, Villa hosted Hull City in the Premier League and swept aside much of the bad feeling by winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Gabriel Agbonlahor and Andi Weimann.
In this week's Aston Villa Review, Chris and Steve briefly consider the implications of the Orient loss but focus mainly on Villa's win against Hull. It was a welcome return to form for both of the goalscorers, but the defence was again impressive and substitute Jack Grealish was singled out for some vicious treatment by walking ballbag Steve Bruce and his goons.
