Aston Villa 2-1 Manchester United. It’s a rarer scoreline than you might imagine.

Villa started Sunday’s game against Manchester United in sloppy fashion and the improvement was marginal rather than emphatic, but hey, who gives a shit?

Lots of supporters have reviewed this as a great result from a poor performance but I don’t think it was bad by any stretch. It wasn’t especially assured but my assessment is that a substandard United line-up played to their limit and barely matched Villa on an off-day.
