Aston Villa took a long while to score their first goal, then their first goal in the Premier League. They waited for a first win, then a first league win, then a first away win.

Now, in the late-ish middle of October, they have their first league win away from home. It was their fifth win in a row in all competitions and the second time in two matches they’ve had to come from behind to take all three points.
