Aston Villa discover Premier League fixtures for 2025/26
Unai Emery's Villans get underway with a home fixture! Imagine!
The Premier League fixtures for the new season have been announced.
Aston Villa begin the season at home with a 12.30pm kick-off against Newcastle United on Saturday 16th August, followed by Brentford away, Crystal Palace at home, Everton away and promoted Sunderland away before the end of September.
Villa’s last game of the season will be away at Manchester City on Sunday 24th May, one week after Liverpool visit Villa Park.
There will be no Boxing Day fixture for Villa in 2025. With Christmas Day falling on a Thursday, Villa will take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 27th December.
Villa’s away fixtures against the other two promoted teams will be on Saturday 22nd November at Leeds United and Saturday 9th May at Burnley.
Leeds (H) will be on Saturday 21st February, Burnley (H) on Saturday 4th October and Sunderland (H) on Saturday 18th April. Except they won’t, obviously, but let’s pretend.

The ultimate truth is that Villa and everyone else will face each opponent twice between the middle of August and the end of May, but there are some runs of fixtures that stand out.
Ending the season against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, Burnley, Liverpool and Man City is no joke. If Villa are going to achieve anything late in the day, they’re going to have to do it the hard way.
Man Utd followed by Chelsea and Arsenal over Christmas is a tough spell too, but then aren’t they all?
Without any local derbies to speak of in 2025/26, Villa supporters will have an eye on the two fixtures against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Both meetings with Wolves – at home on Saturday 29th November and away on Saturday 28th February – will be immediately preceded by games against Leeds.
Here’s the full list before Sky Sports and the Europa League get hold of it.
Welcome to 2025/26. Like 2024/25, only a year later. Let’s rock.
