Premier League football is back on the menu after a tasty landmark Thursday night in the Europa League.

Aston Villa booked their place in the final with a win over Nottingham Forest but there’s work to be done in the league too and they can’t afford to take their eye off the ball. At least, not yet.

The focus for Unai Emery this weekend is on the push for a Champions League berth through Villa’s position in the Premier League, an objective that would be a step closer to being met with a win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.

It’s clear that Emery is trying to manage his squad through two competitions and it’s not easy. The performance against Tottenham Hotspur a week ago was all the evidence of that you could need.
