Friday night football was unwanted but ultimately fruitful as a win over Tottenham Hotspur ensured that there’s something riding on the last day.

Aston Villa go into the final game of the Premier League season with a chance of qualifying for the Champions League as long as they do their bit and beat Manchester United.

Whether it happens or not, that’s a real plus in the final analysis of the 2024/25 season.

Aston Villa Review

Some of the players were obviously emotional after the game. Emiliano Martínez and Leon Bailey emitted some signals with more than the hum of a goodbye and subsequent reports have all but confirmed the goalkeeper will be leaving.

We’ll have more on that when the time comes.

For now, let’s get into the Holy Trinity from Friday’s win against Spurs.
