Aston Villa battered Roma at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on Wednesday, running out 4-0 winners after taking a three-goal lead into the break after a very encouraging first-half performance.

Ollie Watkins scored another header. Donyell Malen grabbed another goal. The plus points were many, diluted only by an injury to Morgan Rogers that thankfully doesn’t sound serious.
